Position Overview
A dual-focus role combining Perinatal Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, offering a unique mix of subspecialty exposure within a public health setting.
Clinical Scope
- Perinatal:
- Antenatal and postnatal mental health
- Postpartum depression and psychosis
- Consultation-Liaison:
- Psychiatric care for medically unwell patients
- Delirium and psychosomatic conditions
Service Structure
- Work with:
- Obstetrics and maternity services
- General medical and surgical teams
- Integrated MDT approach
