Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are recruiting a Consultant Pulmonologist to join a hospital-based respiratory service, managing both acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.

Clinical Scope

  • Management of:
    • Asthma and COPD
    • Interstitial lung disease
    • Respiratory infections
  • Perform:
    • Bronchoscopy
    • Pulmonary function testing interpretation
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care

Service Structure

  • Collaboration with:
    • ICU and internal medicine
    • Sleep medicine and respiratory therapy teams

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participation in MDT discussions
  • Teaching and supervision
  • Development of respiratory services
