Job Description
The role involves providing high-quality, professional, and ethical clinical services to patients, ensuring effective and efficient care. Key responsibilities include monitoring and managing clinical risks, maintaining compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards, and fostering continuous professional development to uphold excellence in medical practice for both oneself and others
Responsibilities

To perform the professional duties of an pulmonologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended and approved by the Credentials Committee.
To perform his duties in the Pulmonology, OPD wards, ICUs, evaluating patients with respiratory diseases and various lung conditions.
Provides after working hours on call emergency coverage for the emergencies pertaining to his specialty.
Participates in continuing in-service training programmers, physician’s conferences, etc.
To provide consultation/referral services to the inpatient services in his area of expertise.
To work with the patients throughout the entire process starting from consultation to treatment plan.
Provides supervision and education to the staff nurses, patients and technicians.
Participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service (e.g. monthly mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit and chart review
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Qualified and licensed Medical Practitioner
At least 3-5 years’ post qualification experience at consultant level (independent of country)
At least 1 year Consultant level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
Basic medical degree and completion of higher education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP
