Roles & Responsibilities

The engagement is primarily focused on strategy execution. It will cover all facets of strategy execution. This is a hands-on role with a high profile government entity.

  • Working with multiple business unit and functional leads to guide their contributions
  • Interviewing very senior executives to solicit their input and refinements
  • Developing high-level project plans, targets and benefits tracking
Start: Starting within 1 month. It is expected that the duration will be approximately 3 months.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Due to COVID-19 this will be 100% completed remotely using online tools. Candidates from any location may be considered.

Desired Candidate Profile

The boutique firm's client is based in Saudi Arabia and is a one of the largest investors in international agriculture projects. The investment firm owns a number of agricultural companies in the Middle East and is now seeking a 5 year strategy to extend further up the agricultural value chain to consumer foods.

The client needs a Senior Strategy Consultant with deep subject matter expertise in the business of Agriculture and successful venture building.
Ideally, the candidates should have:
  • 10+ years of agriculture industry experience, preferably in Australia
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy design
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong senior stakeholder engagement experience
  • Cultural sensitivity is a must
  • Arabic speaking is NOT a must
Candidates must also be able to:
  • Effectively manage stakeholders with work plans and clear deliverables and clear guidance
  • Interface with a wide range of management level internal stakeholders, including c-suite interactions
  • Agree priorities and ensure the required outputs are delivered on schedule
