Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Manage:
- High-risk and complex pregnancies
- Maternal medical complications in pregnancy
- Fetal abnormalities and congenital conditions
- Perform:
- Advanced fetal ultrasound and imaging
- Prenatal diagnostic procedures
- Invasive fetal medicine interventions where applicable
- Participate in:
- Multidisciplinary maternal-fetal care pathways
Subspecialty Interests Preference for candidates with expertise in:
- Advanced fetal imaging
- Prenatal diagnosis
- Maternal-fetal medicine
- Invasive fetal procedures
Service Structure
- Tertiary obstetric and fetal medicine environment
- Collaboration with:
- Neonatology
- Pediatric Surgery
- Genetics and Obstetrics teams
- Access to advanced fetal imaging technology
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in MDT discussions and complex case reviews
- Contribute to development of maternal-fetal medicine services
- Support patient counseling and prenatal education initiatives
- Participate in teaching and academic activities where applicable
Desired Candidate Profile
We are recruiting experienced Consultant and Specialist Fetal Medicine Physicians to join a growing maternal-fetal medicine program within a premium healthcare group in the UAE.
This role is ideal for candidates with advanced expertise in high-risk pregnancy management, prenatal diagnosis, fetal imaging, and complex maternal-fetal medicine cases.
Candidate Requirements
- Western Board Certification / CCT / Fellowship in Maternal & Fetal Medicine preferred
- Strong tertiary hospital experience
- Advanced fetal imaging expertise highly regarded
- Existing DOH, DHA, or MOH license / eligibility advantageous
