Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
Content Creation
• Drafting clear, timely and relevant content plans while building on key messages, channels, stakeholders, and program needs.
• Producing high-quality written content for various platforms, such as articles, blogs, social media posts, press releases.
• Crafting engaging, and well-structured content that aligns with the target audience and meets the needs of the program while aligning with the organization s brand voice and style guidelines.
• Incorporating relevant keywords and optimizing content for search engine optimization (SEO) purposes. This includes understanding basic SEO principles, conducting keyword research, and implementing best practices to improve visibility with the support of the digital team.
• Reviewing and revising content for clarity, and overall quality. This includes self-editing and incorporating feedback from peers to improve the content.
• Collaborating with the communications team to promote content through social media, email marketing, and other channels.
• Collaborating closely with the external service providers (videographers, photographers, writers etc.) to produce relevant and compelling content to cater to the programmatic and channel needs
• Keeping up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging content formats.
Communication
• Develop, manage, and implement communication and outreach plans for the programs in coordination with the program stakeholders
• Attend needed meetings, draft the needed briefs, brainstorm with the various programmatic stakeholders to ensure alignment and communicate internally within the Comms team
• Brief the Visual Designer(s) to develop communication material.
• Prepare communication and content reports with analysis of all activities and social media engagement.
Outreach
• Help identify support deals with corporations and other support organizations in the private and public sectors for the Berytech Community.
• Develop and manage the relevant database (communities, speakers, suppliers, sponsors, media)
• Identify and lead on new growth and sponsorship opportunities.
• Research worldwide trends and innovative ideas to apply locally.
• Participate in ecosystem events to network, identify new practices and partnership opportunities as well as contribute to Berytech s exposure.
• Maintain relationships with relevant partners and stakeholders to maximize communication reach.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Educational Degree: Bachelor s degree marketing, journalism, communications or equivalent from an accredited university. Additional certificates are a plus.
• Experience: 4 years and more in project management, media relations, digital marketing, content writing
• Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in content management systems, digital publishing tools, and analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices for optimizing content.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from various sources.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative content ideas.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup ecosystem is a plus.
