Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Content Lead at YAZ Media, you are the editorial and creative heartbeat of our agency. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, leading a team to ensure every piece of content from a five-word tagline to a high-production Reel is on-brand, high-quality, and culturally resonant.
Strategic Oversight: Lead the development of creative content strategies for social media, ensuring perfect alignment with client business objectives.
Bilingual Mastery: Oversee and produce high-quality copy in both English and Arabic for social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and brand narratives.
Creative Execution: Direct and create eye-catching multimedia content (Reels, TikToks, GIFs, and carousels) that stops the scroll.
Brand Stewardship: Ensure a consistent brand voice across all client portfolios, adapting tone for various formats from concise captions to detailed web content.
On-Site Coverage: Lead event coverage, creating real-time content (videos/stories) to maximize engagement and visibility.
Team Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication between the Content, Production, and Marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of multimedia assets.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies and drive ROI for clients.
Innovation: Experiment with emerging trends, AI tools, and new formats to keep YAZ Media at the forefront of the industry.
Quality Control: Serve as the final point of proofreading and editing for clarity, consistency, and cultural accuracy in both languages.
Leads and manages the content unit, including, but not limited to, copywriters, social content creators, and creative strategists
Own and manage the performance, development, and output quality of the Content team.
Set clear KPIs, deadlines, and quality benchmarks for all content deliverables.
Conduct internal content reviews, feedback sessions, and training to continuously elevate team standards.
Build and refine internal SOPs for content planning, briefing, approval flows, and publishing workflows.
Oversee content calendars across multiple accounts, ensuring strategic cohesion and timely delivery.
Improve turnaround efficiency and scalability of content production without compromising quality.
Implement AI and workflow tools to enhance productivity and maintain competitive advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in content creation and bilingual copywriting, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or senior role within an agency.
Native or near-native fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Proven track record of growing brands on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Proficiency in content tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Photoshop.
Ability to translate complex marketing goals into digestible, engaging content calendars.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and mentor junior creators.
A strong portfolio demonstrating diverse writing styles and high-performing social media campaigns.
Proven experience managing and mentoring a content team in a fast paced agency environment.
Experience building content calendars across multiple brands and campaigns.
