Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As Site Continuous Improvement Manager, you are in charge of leading major projects, coordinating the progress plan and managing the site's Continuous Improvement team with a view to SQDCPI performance.
You will report to the quality & progress manager.
With your continuous improvement team, you are responsible for the following activities:
- The development of the annual progress plan
- Site performance management
- Implementation of Performance Management at the manager level:
- Supporting the COOP and managers in their progress initiatives
- Deployment of the progress framework.
- Supporting a culture of progress
- Methodological support associated with progress tools
- Steering operational excellence
- Deployment of the Operational Excellence System through the project roadmap
- Implementation and improvement of QRQC.
- Planning and monitoring of 5S projects, installation of the evaluation system and assessments
- Steering Participatory Innovation (tools, rituals, summary of the number of ideas submitted, ideas of the month).
- Selection and submission of applications for the Safran Innovation Awards
- Feedback and sharing of best practices
- Monitoring and reporting of progress KPIs
- Organisation des benchmarks
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment rules, in particular vital rules, and participate in their deployment (I move carefully, I work with caution, I handle with care, I power on safely, I optimize my workspace, I know the risks).
Desired Candidate Profile
- Required education level: Bachelor's degree + 5 years of higher education or equivalent experience
- Minimum experience level required: more than 5 years: several experiences in industrial functions (production, quality, supply chain, methods)
- Fluent English
- Proven experience in team or cross-functional management
- Autonomy, analytical skills, ability to step back and synthesize information
- Ability to lead change and get teams on board
- Communication skills (listening, feedback and empathy), negotiation and leadership skills
- Dynamic and team-oriented
- A Black Belt certification is a plus; otherwise, the candidate will benefit from internal group training.
