Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead contract negotiations with ADNOC and its subsidiaries, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that protect the company's interests.
  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to close-out, ensuring adherence to ADNOC's stringent requirements and internal policies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing expert advice to project teams to minimize potential disputes and liabilities.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of all contract-related documentation, including variations, amendments, and claims, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor contract performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to agreed-upon schedules.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex contractual issues, seeking expert guidance on matters related to ADNOC's specific legal framework.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ADNOC representatives, fostering open communication and a collaborative approach to contract management.
  • Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance with ADNOC's regulations and identify areas for improvement in contract management processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on contract administration, promoting a culture of contract awareness and compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive contract reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into contract performance and potential risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or equivalent, demonstrating professional expertise.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management within the oil and gas industry, with specific ADNOC experience being mandatory.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of ADNOC's procurement processes, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Prior experience working with international EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects is highly desirable.
  • Nationality preference: Open to all nationalities, with a strong preference for candidates based in the UAE.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is essential for effective communication with ADNOC and its stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration, utilizing contract management software.
  • Possesses excellent soft skills, including strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Displays exceptional personal qualities, such as attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
