Job description
Reporting to the Director of DIGITAL VIRGO MAROC in Casablanca, and to the Legal Affairs Manager of the DIGITAL VIRGO Group based in Lyon, the Contract Manager will be in charge of:
- the drafting and monitoring of the contracts of the Group's companies in Africa (contracts with telecommunications operators, content licensing agreements, service provision contracts, media partnership contracts, etc.), in conjunction with the commercial, technical and financial departments of these companies;
- the deployment of the Group's Compliance program in Africa: as a Compliance Officer, you will be in charge of training the teams in Africa on issues relating to anti-money laundering and international sanctions, carrying out the necessary third-party checks (KYC), participating in the feedback of information to the Compliance Committee and the Management;
- the follow-up of pre-litigation and litigation files in relation to lawyers.
Qualifications
For this very operational position, we are looking for a profile with both an analytical mind and a strong responsiveness allowing us to lead to concrete solutions,
Significant experience within an internationally open group is mandatory,
Fluency in French and English, knowledge of legal issues in contract law are essential.
A minimum of BAC+5 training, with a Master II level or equivalent,
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an in-house lawyer.
You show conviction to federate and raise awareness among the various stakeholders.
Your involvement and business orientation will allow you to bring real added value in a context of growth of the Group's activities in Africa.
