Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate the contracting of rates, special offers, allocation, release periods, overrides, terms and conditions for hotels, airlines, restaurants and transportation companies to ensure the best available rates and availability; in both: new properties/new suppliers but also re-contracting existing agreements.
  • Analyze the product of our different competitors in order to ensure our best conditions in the market.
  • Analyze weekly product/sales reports to identify market trends and revenue/room night sales growth opportunities.
  • Analyze opportunities for opening of new destinations and product development.
  • Assist in resolving complaints and administrative issues of our suppliers and hotels.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office team and EXO Egypt product department the loading, check, positioning of the contracts.
  • Prepare supplier website demonstrations for the suppliers.
  • Negotiate and contract extra services like transfers and excursions.
  • Lead complex contractual negotiations.
  • Make amendments to contractual documents.
  • Conduct investigations into any technical changes or contractual disputes.
  • Safeguard the company s interests.
  • Support senior managers in the development of risk and policy documentation.

Reservation management development

  • Book reservations and send out confirmation notices for special requests such FOC, discount and others benefits/added values.
  • Organize training in cooperation with suppliers to elevate reservation officers knowledge.

Work Relation

  • Liaise with the other Departments and EXO sisters offices.
  • Maintain good working relations with clients and suppliers.

Skills:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with key accounts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong service mindset, team player, detail oriented with ability to work autonomously.
  • Leadership and ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office & Travel software.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a similar role, an international experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Tourism field is a must.
  • Excellent experience in contracting with hotels & suppliers.
  • Experience working with / for a DMC/Hotel and have great contacts within the industry.
  • Be commercially focused.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
