Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review contracts and identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Responsible for administration of project contracts whether standard forms or ad-hoc.
  • Guide the project team through the contract closing -out stage (TOC, Retention, LGs,..etc).
  • Issue detailed contractual monthly reports.
  • Review projects time schedules.
  • Review and issue final contracts addenda / amendments drafts before submitting them for approval.
  • Follow up and maintain the contractual records and correspondences in projects.
  • Prepare claims for the extension of time and / or financial compensation.
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms, monitor obligations, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Work closely with the commercial and project teams to assess contractual implications of project decisions.
  • Assist in arbitration, litigation, or mediation proceedings related to contractual disputes.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual matters.

  • Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Preferably Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field).
  • Post Graduate Courses/ Studies of contract are required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Contract Administration/Management within construction.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic languages
  • Strong knowledge of Standard Construction Contracts (FIDIC, JCT, .etc) and Bespoke Contracts.
  • Experience in Claims Management and Risk Assessment.
  • Familiarity with Construction Laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Contract Management Software, and Project Tools (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD).

Desired Candidate Profile
