Roles & Responsibilities

The Supply Chain and Contract Specialist will be responsible for the execution of Procurement related activities in alignment with the company requirements, drafting and maintaining contracts and agreements as well as being the focal point for vendor registration and customer/suppliers interactions. Executions of procurement includes working with multiple leaders/stakeholders and a variety of technical and non-technical suppliers to identify the most sufficient suppliers and most cost effective. Drafting and Maintaining contracts include negotiating agreements for the company s best interest while ensuring all required documents such as NDA s/ MoU s/ Agreement are in place and ensuring obligations of both parties are met. Acting as the focal point of contact when it comes to vendor registration and customer/suppliers interactions may also include ensuring the complete registration and documents updates at customers portal, coordinating with different stakeholders such as GRC, Technical, Marketing, and legal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve processes, policies, strategies and best practices of Supply Chain
  • Optimize and implement a complete supply chain management cycle for both operation and project-specificitems within the ERP system
  • Perform a due diligence for suppliers and manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price,quality, support, capacity and reliability.
  • Negotiate purchasing agreements and terms of payments to ensure compliance with legal requirements,organizational policies, and regulations of LCGPA.
  • Manage purchase order claims with keeping a log of time and the problems.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Ensuring all orders are expedited and checked to ensure they will be Arriving within the agreed time scale.
  • Keep accurate records of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and efficiency
  • Work across multiple programs with maintaining all commercial related issues including procurement,contracts administration, cost advice, reporting and mitigation of financial risk
  • Ensure Company information is protected by having NDA s on place.
  • Assist on all contractual matters including the review, identification and resolution of Contract changeevents, notices and claims with presenting and defending recommendations and positions includingcoordination with Legal as may be required.
  • Obtaining all contract deliverables for timely work handover and close-out of contracts to ensure that allterms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment.
  • The review of Contract general terms and conditions to identify and monitor areas of risk, ambiguities,conflicts or deviations from the scope of work.
  • Handle tender process from beginning to end, forming and issuing tender packages, tracking and closingqueries, receiving and evaluating proposals, and providing recommendations for award
  • Prepares and organizes meetings and workshops for bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for thepurpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between the client and supplier on allcontractual matters.
