Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To provide precise drafting, compliance checks, and negotiation support for Technology/IT/Networks contracts in accordance with Vodafone s internal contracts management governance and processes, ensuring adherence to applicable compliance requirements, corporate policies, and relevant laws and regulations, while supporting internal stakeholders in claims, contract interpretation, risk identification and awareness, and assisting the litigation team in related disputes.
- Verify completeness of contract prerequisites (supplier documentation, SoWs, approvals, compliance clearances, guarantees) before drafting.
- Draft, review, and redline contractual documents (RFPs, SoWs, MSAs, PoCs, amendments, renewals), ensuring clarity, enforceability, and compliance with policies and laws.
- Operate CLM digital automated workflows (SAP CLM, SirionLabs, and similar): manage metadata accuracy, approvals, version control, and retention in secure repositories, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Support contract negotiations by preparing well-defined fallback options, maintaining comprehensive documentation of negotiation positions and outcomes, and escalating high-risk issues for managerial review.
- Support claims, variations, and contract interpretation; prepare evidence and reports for stakeholders and litigation support.
- 3 5 years contracts management experience within Telecom/IT/Networks.
- Strong English drafting skills; able to simplify complex legal terms for business stakeholders.
- Good understanding of compliance regimes (Sanctions & Trade Control, Anti-Bribery, Privacy, H&S, Business Resilience, and Cyber Security).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with SCM, Business, Finance, Technology, and Compliance teams.
- Familiarity with AI tools in contracts management (AI-assisted drafting, document review, analytics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in identifying risks and recommending solutions.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Certification in Contracts Management such as CLAC (CICCM/IACCM or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Egyptian law; knowledge of England and Wales law is a plus.
- Proficiency in Legal English and hands-on CLM systems experience.
- Strong Analytical skills and Proficient use MS Office.
