Reporting Structure

  • This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with close collaboration across Operations, Projects, Legal, and Finance functions. The position carries direct line management responsibility over the contracts and procurement team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Omani National u2014 mandatory requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of contracts and procurement experience, with substantial upstream oil and gas exposure in Oman.
  • Proven experience with major Omani upstream operators in Oman.
  • Thorough knowledge of MEM and TBC guidelines, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in rolling out procurement systems and processes and leading ERP integration within the contracts and procurement function.
  • Strong track record in high-value contract negotiation and upstream commercial risk management.
