Control Engineer - Field Service Engineer (FSE)

We are seeking experienced Control Engineer FSEs with strong hands-on expertise in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of MS5002 gas turbines with centrifugal compressors driven by electrical motors and controlled through MARK VIE control systems, for long-term site assignment in the Algeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for centrifugal compressors with electric motor drives.

• Configure, test, and support MARK VIE control systems, including logic verification and functional testing.

• Execute I/O checks, loop checking, interlock verification, and protection testing.

• Support motor control, VFD/MCC interface, and compressor control integration.

• Troubleshoot control system, instrumentation, and communication issues during commissioning and start-up.

• Coordinate with mechanical, E&I, OEM, and client teams to ensure smooth execution.

• Participate in performance testing and operational handover to the client.

• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, cause & effect matrices, and as-built documentation.

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project procedures.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Control Engineer / Control FSE on compressor projects.

• Proven experience MS5002 gas turbines with centrifugal compressors driven by electrical motors.

• Mandatory hands-on experience with MARK VIE control systems.

• Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS-based control systems, logic diagrams, and commissioning workflows.

• Experience with oil & gas / power / industrial projects.

• Excellent troubleshooting and coordination skills.
