Job Description
Role Overview:

The Control Tower Executive plays a central role in ensuring the successful execution of daily trucking operations. Acting as the frontline of the Control Tower, this role monitors trips in real-time, communicates with drivers, updates system status, and resolves on-ground operational challenges. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and proactive, ensuring delivery commitments are met with precision and speed.



Key Responsibilities:
Monitor all ongoing trips through Naqla’s platform and systems, ensuring execution is on time and according to plan.
Contact drivers and third-party carriers throughout the execution to provide support, follow-up on schedules, and resolve issues.
Update system statuses (e.g., loading, en route, offloading, delays) in real time to ensure visibility across teams.
Coordinate with the Dispatching, CRM, and Fleet teams to handle exceptions such as delays, cancelation, or rerouting.
Escalate and follow through on any operational disruptions or service failures.
Provide timely reports and updates to our clients on trip status.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of operational data and trip documentation in the system.
Participate in shift-based coverage for 24/7 trip monitoring.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Trip on-time execution rate
System update accuracy and timeliness
Average response/resolution time for operational issues
Driver contact and follow-up compliance
Incident handling turnaround time


Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or relevant experience).
1–3 years of experience in operations, transportation, or a similar control-tower or coordination role.
Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with high volume.
