Roles & Responsibilities

Value International Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Coordination Engineer to manage and streamline project activities, ensuring effective communication and alignment among all project stakeholders. This role involves overseeing design coordination, resolving technical issues, and maintaining seamless project workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Coordination:
    • Review and integrate designs from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.).
    • Ensure design compatibility and resolve any conflicts between different engineering disciplines.
  • Project Planning Support:
    • Assist in the development of project schedules and ensure all teams adhere to timelines.
    • Monitor progress and coordinate with stakeholders to address delays or issues.
  • Technical Issue Resolution:
    • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies during the design and construction phases.
    • Provide solutions that align with project specifications and client requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a central point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
    • Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Document Control:
    • Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
    • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant parties.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
    • Address and resolve any non-conformities promptly.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
    • Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordination Meetings:
    • Organize and lead coordination meetings to ensure smooth communication between teams.
    • Document meeting outcomes and follow up on action items.
  • Cost and Resource Optimization:
    • Support cost estimation efforts by providing input on coordination-related activities.
    • Optimize resource allocation to enhance project efficiency.
  • Reporting and Updates:
    • Prepare detailed progress reports for senior management and clients.
    • Highlight challenges, achievements, and recommendations for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of design processes and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in coordination tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
