About the role

Love words? We d love to hear from you. We re looking for a creative and curious Copywriter to join our in-house agency the Creative Studio. As part of your job, you ll be responsible for crafting short and long-form copy, coming up with creative ideas, leading small and medium-scale projects and most importantly, being a guardian of the voice of Careem Food. We re looking for someone with experience in taking briefs and turning them into crafted, powerful messaging that drives impact.

What you'll do

  • Write, write, write. Punchy headlines. Persuasive emails. Push notifications. Concept notes.
  • Come up with creative concepts and campaigns for Careem Food.
  • Ensure consistency in our TOV across all channels.
  • Proofread. Until the last full stop.
  • Collaborate with your creative colleagues on various assigned briefs.

What you'll need

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (agency experience preferred).
  • A portfolio of work that shows off your thinking and copywriting skills.
  • A knack for sharp, witty writing.
  • A keen interest in food and food writing.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to brainstorm.
  • Proven ability to successfully develop and execute multi-channel copy.
  • Independent, proactive and critical thinking skills.
  • Being able to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • The ability to work individually as well as in a team.
