Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Making decisions on credit files under his authority
- validating requests for exemptions and authorizing occasional transactions
- Being the Credit reference person, the main contact channel for networks, specialized back offices and the Risk department on the subject of commitments
- Proposing and participating in the definition of credit objectives and the sales action plan
- Monitoring the evolution of risks
- to decide on credit files under his delegation
- validate requests for exemptions and authorize ad hoc operations
- He makes decisions on funding requests submitted to him by the network and which fall within his authority levels.
- He centralizes files outside of delegated personal powers, provides a reasoned opinion, and forwards them for a decision according to the applicable approval process and procedure.
- He quickly decides to respect quality standards in customer relations and in accordance with the commercial strategy.
- He verifies the existence and consistency of counterparties in accordance with the validated risk policy, assesses their nature, and monitors their implementation.
- It adapts the financial conditions and other commercial exceptions, taking into account the overall profitability and development potential of the relationship.
- It authorizes ad hoc operations within the scope of its activity (overruns, noteworthy operations, etc.) and ensures smooth and rigorous management of DAD/DAE
- To be the Credit reference, the preferred contact for networks, specialized back offices and the Risk Department on commitment matters
- It helps salespeople master negotiation practices and techniques.
- He assists them in negotiating pricing terms and commercial considerations.
- It encourages commercial networks to systematically seek counterparties, raises their awareness of risks, and protects the bank's interests in lending activities.
- It serves as a training hub for commercial networks, is involved in skills transfer, and disseminates best practices.
- He monitors the competitive landscape of the credit market (primarily regarding pricing and terms of service...)
- It serves as the natural interface between the Group's subsidiaries and other entities involved in credit-related activities (Insurance, etc.) for the purpose of seeking agreements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in finance, banking or management
- Proven experience in corporate credit analysis (minimum 5 years)
- Solid knowledge of banking risks and financing products
- Experience in a corporate/business environment
