Corporate/Commercial Lawyer

Client of MENA Recruit Pty Ltd

1. Support the business on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters

2. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements

3. Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk and commercially focused issues

4. Assist with corporate governance, policies, and compliance-related work

5. Work closely with senior stakeholders and external counsel where required

6. Operate with discretion and professionalism in a government-facing environment

Requirements:

1. Senior Associate level lawyer (7+ years PQE)

2. Common law qualified (e.g., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada)

3. Solid experience across corporate and commercial law

4. Currently based in the UAE, with willingness to work in Abu Dhabibr

5. Comfortable working on a contract/secondment basis, including holding (or obtaining) a freelance or spousal visabr

This role will begin as an initial three-month contract, with a strong view to extension (typically a further 3 6 months). There is also a clear contract-to-permanent pathway over the longer term, subject to performance and business needs.
