Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose/Objective:

Support the implementation of communication plans and initiatives to promote MAKEEN s brand, internal culture, and external visibility. This role focuses on content development, social media management, and internal communication tasks, contributing to the overall communication efforts in alignment with company objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

Content Creation and Communication Support

  • Draft content for newsletters, announcements, reports, internal portals, and social media.
  • Assist in the production and editing of corporate publications and digital content.
  • Support in organizing communication campaigns for events and programs.

Digital and Social Media

  • Maintain and update content on corporate website and SharePoint in both English and Arabic.
  • Support in managing company social media accounts by posting approved content and monitoring basic engagement metrics.

Internal Communication

  • Assist in coordinating internal communication materials and campaigns.
  • Distribute announcements, company policies, and updates to employees in collaboration with HR.

Translation and Arabic Content Review

  • Translate and review Arabic/English content for communication materials.
  • Proofread and ensure clarity and accuracy in bilingual content.

Media and Public Relations Support

  • Assist in updating press materials, media briefs, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Support coordination with PR agencies and handle basic media requests in coordination with senior team members.


Desired Candidate Profile

Education :

Bachelor s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.

Professional Qualification:

Not mandatory; certifications in digital marketing or media relations will be an advantage.

Person Specification

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator etc)
  • Good writing and proofreading skills in Arabic and English
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic analytics tools
  • Social media content planning and post scheduling

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably in a corporate or agency environment with a focus on writing, digital media, or employee communication.

Languages: Proficient in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
