Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit reviews of corporate clients, including analyzing financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers by assessing their financial stability, credit histories, and ability to repay loans.
  • Review loan documents, collateral, and other relevant information to assess the overall risk associated with lending to corporate clients.
  • Provide recommendations for credit decisions and suggest appropriate credit terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate credit risks by monitoring market trends and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as relationship managers and loan officers, to assess credit risk and propose risk mitigation strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in corporate banking.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and credit risk assessment.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing financial statements, cash flow analysis, and business valuations.
  • Knowledge of local banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to make sound credit decisions and provide well-founded recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
