Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate in developing the department s strategy, annual plans, budgets, and goals aligned with the bank s overall corporate and financial institutions strategy.
- Oversee staff performance, ensure operational efficiency, and support employee development to enhance client service quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow corporate and financial institution business while managing risks.
- Supervise market research and economic studies to guide business decisions and credit approvals.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and satisfaction is maintained.
- Lead marketing and sales efforts to attract new clients and promote banking, treasury, and cash management products.
- Review and recommend credit facility requests, ensuring compliance with credit policies and risk management standards.
- Monitor departmental performance, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Promote cross-selling of banking products and services in coordination with other departments.
- Oversee credit portfolio quality, monitor client exposure, and report potential risks.
- Support and guide relationship and unit managers in client management and business development.
- Supervise the implementation of strategic projects, monitor progress, and ensure objectives are achieved.
- Ensure proper reporting to senior management and compliance with policies, procedures, and audit recommendations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Banking, or a related field; professional or postgraduate qualifications in the field are preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in corporate credit and lending, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Preferably experienced in dealing with major corporations, commercial and industrial groups, and large economic entities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal and external banking policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Strong understanding of various market sectors, particularly the banking sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the bank s products and services.
- Proficiency in computer use and banking systems.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong direct and cross-selling skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse types of clients.
