Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Role Objectives:
    The primary objective of this role is to provide expert, practical legal counsel to internal stakeholders across various departments, ensuring that all company operations, transactions, and corporate governance matters comply with applicable laws and regulations and mitigate legal risk.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Providing legal advice on corporate governance, compliance matters, and regulatory requirements (e.g., securities law, data privacy).
  • Overseeing and managing litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
  • Developing, updating, and implementing internal corporate policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree from an accredited law Univeristy.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience practicing corporate or commercial law, either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate law, including corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
