Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Identify and examine costs that are inconsistent with projected values.
  • Cost control monitoring in association with LOB heads and providing monthly financial statements.
  • Manage the monthly cost accounting closing process ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of inventory and cost of sales accounts.
  • Prepare daily / Monthly operation reports on sales and other key metrics.
  • Monitor all the projects and follow up their progress.
  • Prepare monthly (or more frequently, as needed) forecasts and the annual budget process.
  • Proper closure of financial statements for periodic audits.
  • Follow up with the accounting team with received items to be invoiced and pending invoices.
  • Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost-to-operate statement along with supporting analysis team.
  • Work with the Accounting Manager in the development & maintenance of standard costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in the same role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is Preferable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
