Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Cost Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze cost reports, profitability analysis, and variance reports.
  • Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure accurate allocation.
  • Conduct monthly closing of cost accounts.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Compare actual results against budget and highlight variances.

Inventory & Production Costing

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory movements.
  • Ensure correct product costing for existing and new products.

Internal Control & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes related to cost accounting.

Decision Support

  • Provide cost analysis to support management in pricing, profitability, and efficiency decisions.
  • Identify areas of cost reduction and process improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CMA) is an advantage.
  • 3 5 years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting methods, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
