Roles & Responsibilities
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with a strong focus on cost control, analysis, and financial optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a cost accounting system for accurate cost tracking.
• Prepare, analyze, and report product and service costing, profit margins, and waste analysis.
• Monitor raw materials, inventory, and production costs to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimations, and support budgeting processes.
• Record and classify financial transactions in line with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams to optimize costs.
• Recommend cost reduction initiatives and provide data-driven insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Assist in reviewing and validating payroll accuracy when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 4 years of experience in cost accounting or financial management (F&B or manufacturing preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in budgeting, cost studies, and financial forecasting.
