Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Workshop Job Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Estimating the time required for workshop tasks and calculating job costs.
- Distributing workflow effectively among technicians based on their capabilities.
- Preparing and submitting accurate, regular workshop performance reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate labor lines in service orders, split tasks, and allocate sub-orders appropriately.
- Estimate task duration per technician and calculate costs upon job completion.
- Prepare job estimates and final invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Raise proforma invoices for cash/contract service orders and verify consumable charges.
- Amend computer job cards and invoices to improve workflow efficiency.
- Review invoices and related documents against system records for accuracy.
- Generate and share daily workshop performance reports.
- Compute and submit technician incentive forms and claims.
- Enter relevant data into the system and maintain up-to-date records.
- Provide regular job updates to Service Advisors.
- Follow instructions from the Service Manager in alignment with company SOPs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace; protect company assets.
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Report technical or safety-related vehicle issues to the Master Technician.

- Efficient technician workload distribution based on skills.
- Timely and precise workshop performance reporting.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree or Diploma in any discipline.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in workshop operations or a related administrative role.
Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
Computer Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); familiar with job card/invoice systems.
