Cost Control Engineer ULTIMATE HUMAN RESOURCES SOLUTIONS LLC

seeking a detail oriented and analytical cost control engineer to manage and monitor project costs across construction projects. The role requires close coordination with the Finance department to ensure accurate cost tracking, financial reporting, and alignment between project budgets and company financial systems.

Develop and maintain project budgets, cost breakdown structures and cost plans. Monitor project expenditure, commitments, and actual cost against approved budgets. Perform cost variance analysis and provide recommendations to control deviations. Prepare periodic cost reports, including forecasts and estimate at completion. Coordinate closely with the finance department for cost reconciliation with accounting records, monthly closing activities and cost allocation. Track and manage project cash flow, including forecasting and funding requirements. Support procurement and contract teams in cost-related matters. Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with financial policies and audit requirements. Maintain accurate documentation.
