Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions, ensuring projects stay within budget.
  • Monitor and control expenditures, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets during the project planning phase, leveraging historical data and market trends.
  • Support the financial closing processes by providing accurate and timely data to finance teams for reporting purposes.
  • Engage with suppliers and contractors to track costs, negotiate pricing, and ensure value for money on all project-related purchases.
  • Deliver presentations and reports to senior management, communicating complex financial information in an understandable manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Estimation, or equivalent discipline

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in cost control, cost engineering, or project financial management within construction or infrastructure projects

  • Proficiency in cost management software and ERP systems (e.g., Xpedeon, SAP, Oracle, Candy or similar platforms)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse stakeholders

  • Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management principles

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in financial documentation
