Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the cost control and planning team to ensure effective project cost management and scheduling.

Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and reporting mechanisms for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Prepare, review, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections in coordination with project managers and stakeholders.

Monitor project expenditures, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain budgetary compliance.

Oversee the preparation and maintenance of detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.

Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to validate cost estimates and resource allocations.

Generate regular cost and progress reports for senior management, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards in all cost and planning activities.

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Support the tendering and bidding process by providing accurate cost and schedule data for new projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cost control, planning, or project controls within the real estate, construction, or facility management sectors.

Proven track record in leading and managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Expertise in project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in project management and cost control software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, SAP, or similar).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work onsite and adapt to changing project requirements.

Experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
