Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage costs related to projects and business operations.

Track expenditures and compare actual costs to budgets and forecasts.

Generate regular cost reports and dashboards for management review.

Analyze cost variances and identify areas for cost optimization.

Assist in developing project budgets and revising forecasts as needed.

Validate supplier and contractor invoices against budgets and contracts.

Work with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Maintain and improve cost control systems, tools, and procedures.

Participate in audits and support compliance with financial regulations.

Contribute to risk management by identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or project accounting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Primavera).

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience in a project-based industry (construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc.) is a plus.
