Roles & Responsibilities

About the Cost Engineer position
The Cost Engineer's main mission will be to analyze, evaluate, and optimize the costs of components and technical solutions to ensure the competitiveness and economic performance of projects. They will work closely with technical, purchasing, and supplier teams to ensure the accuracy of economic models and support strategic decisions.
Job duties
  • Perform cost analyses for different technical components and systems.
  • Monitor market developments and identify key technological trends.
  • Participate in the construction and updating of cost models.
  • Prepare presentations and deliverables for project teams.
  • Collaborating with different internal teams to ensure the reliability of economic data.

Desired Candidate Profile

Your profile
  • Education: Bac+5 in engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical or equivalent).
  • Experience: Junior with 1 to 3 years of experience (or long internship in an industrial setting).
  • Good command of Excel and office tools.
  • Analytical skills, ability to synthesize information and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of technical components or industrial environments is appreciated.
  • Bonus: knowledge of VBA, Python or analysis tools.
