Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates using advanced software tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with project managers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • BE/B Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in cost engineering roles in EPC / Infrastructure projects, preferably in CHP / material handling / power plant projects
  • Sound knowledge of project cost control methodologies, cost estimation techniques, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Familiarity with project contracts, BOQ, and item rate analysis
  • Proficient in MS Excel (advanced level), MS Project or Primavera (optional), and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Understanding of statutory tax implications (GST, WCT, etc.) in cost estimation and billing is desirable
