Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Within the Africa Tenders unit, the position involves conducting cost studies and preparing the financial and technical proposals necessary to respond to Egis AFRICA's tenders. You will be involved in engineering and infrastructure projects financed by public and private institutions, including International Financial Institutions (World Bank, EIB, AFD, EBRD, etc.), working closely with the technical and project teams.
The main activities will be as follows:
- Analyze the consultation files (DAO, DCE).
- to establish detailed financial estimates for the projects.
- Prepare the cost estimates for the offers (resources, means, costs).
- To propose optimized technical and economic alternatives.
- Contribute to the definition of the response strategy (organization, planning, resources).
- Collaborate closely with the technical, project and planning teams.
- Review and analyze quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- change with local and international partners.
- Update the price and ratio databases.
- Capitalize on the feedback (REX) from projects, whether won or not.
- Contribute to the improvement of pricing tools and methods.
- Identify the risks, technical constraints and opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering, Construction, Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in cost studies / pricing / bids in the fields of engineering, construction or transport infrastructure.
- Experience on African or international projects is an asset.
- Excellent mastery of estimation and pricing methods.
- Good understanding of technical studies and the constraints of complex projects.
- Knowledge of contracts, public/private markets and project structuring.
- Ability to analyze multidisciplinary technical documents.
- Strong organizational skills, prioritization, anticipation of needs and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Versatility, flexibility and a strong results orientation.
- Ability to work in a team and promote collaboration.
- Proactive, autonomous mindset and sense of responsibility.
- Very good command of Excel (complex tables, formulas, automations).
- My proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of pricing or planning software is a plus.
