Cost Estimation Engineer

Ability to accurately estimate costs for both hard and soft services (MEP, HVAC, cleaning, security, etc.), including manpower, materials, and subcontracting. Ensures competitive and realistic pricing.

Strong understanding of facility management systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and civil maintenance, along with service delivery models in FM contracts.

Capability to analyze BOQs, tender documents, and historical data to derive precise estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, cost models) and familiarity with estimation tools or ERP systems for accurate and efficient calculations.

Conduct detailed analysis of project specifications to develop accurate cost estimates and budgets that align with company objectives.

Collaborate with the team to gather information on project scope and ensure all elements are considered in cost estimation.

Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to generate precise cost models, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.

Review vendor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive and reasonable estimates without compromising quality.

Good experience calculating man hours in the facilities management industry.
