The Cost Performer is responsible for the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of costs on a project or product portfolio. He collaborates with project teams, purchasing, engineering, and finance to identify cost reduction levers while ensuring quality and deadlines. He provides a clear view of budget variances, anticipates deviations, and participates in economic decision-making.
