Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Director - Cost Planning (Residential Developments) will oversee the cost planning functions for residential projects within Qiddiya Investment Company.

  • Lead the cost estimation process and development of cost plans at various stages of design.
  • Ensure alignment between project costs and budgetary constraints.
  • Manage and coordinate with cost consultants for deliverables.
  • Track design changes and analyze their cost implications.
  • Prepare detailed budget estimates for management approval.
  • Maintain cost plans consistent with Qiddiya's Cost Breakdown Structure.
  • Review project team cost plans to ensure accurate data and compatibility with market conditions.
  • Implement strategies for design optimization and value engineering.
  • Oversee the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and pre-tender estimates.
  • Provide cost information to support strategic business planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in cost planning, particularly in residential development.
  • Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Master s degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., MRICS) is a plus.
