Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement costing systems and procedures aligned with the company s operations in the dairy & food industry.
  • Monitor actual production costs and perform variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
  • Control costs of raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overheads.
  • Prepare periodic costing reports covering product cost, profit margins, and operational expenses to support management decision-making.
  • Supervise the monthly closing of cost accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehousing, and Sales departments to ensure effective cost control and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost forecasts, and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the costing team, ensuring effective task allocation and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations.
  • Support the Finance Manager and top management with detailed cost analysis and recommendations for improving profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 10 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the food manufacturing/FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of costing methodologies, ERP systems, and Excel/financial analysis tools.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in English
