Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Gather and analyze financial data
- Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
- Help management make important decisions based on costs and benefits (pricing changes)
- Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
- Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions
- Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs
- Estimate product costs for existing and new products
- Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor, and inventory
- Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions.
- Conduct market research to support future business planning
- Handling Inventory management, CAPEX, Logistics, and Fixed cost preparation, covering all Planning & Controlling cycles when it comes to preparing the Annual Budget, Mid Term Plan, and Rolling Forecast.
- Review all inventory transactions using System to verify the accuracy of the account, average cost of the items and fundamental analysis of the reasons for the differences.
- Determine the allocation of the Administration, Sales and Manufacturing Expenses and follow up on budget
- Compare between Standard cost & actual cost
- Analyzing product/raw material design, manufacturing methods, and services provided, to determine cost of new product, needed price list & recognize any differences that might affect the product cost
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
- Preparing costing statements every month
- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
- Ensure that the related cycles are fully complying with company policies and Minimum Control Standards.
- Analyzing production costs and recommending changes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 6 years of years of finance related experience (Planning, analysis, costing and controlling background), manufacturing background is a plus.
- Proven track record in leading or managing a costing or accounting team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting software.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and standard costing methods.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in financial reporting.
- Sap user is a plus.
