Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee the costing process for all products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare detailed reports on cost variances, trends, and profitability.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to gather and validate cost data.

Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies.

Develop and implement cost control procedures to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.

Review and update standard costs for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods on a regular basis.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing reliable cost estimates and analysis.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements related to costing and inventory management.

Train and mentor junior costing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Prepare and present cost analysis reports to management, offering actionable insights for decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 2 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in costing, preferably within the manufacturing or cosmetics industry.

Proven experience in supervising or leading a costing or accounting team.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Proficiency in cost accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control principles.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of costing and reporting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
