Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Attends all walk-in parts customers over parts sales counter and provide them the necessary services for their parts needs.
- Promotes parts sales by utilizing interpersonal selling skills & Parts product knowledge.
- Uses CAT parts information system (SIS) & other parts suppliers parts Portals to identify correct part numbers for customers.
- Effectively Uses Dealer Business System (DBS) utilizing all related functionalities to process parts sales accurately.
- Records all parts sales transactions as per business needs, including Lost sales transactions.
- Use the online Channel (PCC) to prepare the quotes and process the customers orders.
- Prepare recommended parts lists and coordinates with Service team & Parts operation supervisor/BPM before finalization.
- Records accurate customers details on sales transactions & invoices including all necessary supporting documents.
- Processes customers parts orders and coordinate with warehouse staff on any special delivery or pick up instructions.
- Update the customer on B/O status and expected delivery time when needed.
- Promote and conduct business professionally in order to protect the integrity of Caterpillar brand and Al-Bahar image.
- Ensure all departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant standing instructions and other company policies.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance to HSE policy to maintain a hazard and incident free environment.
- Promote awareness of the significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of similar work experience in parts sales and operation.
- Thorough knowledge of spare parts and products knowledge.
- Ability to organize daily work activities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to identify requested parts from manufacturer references.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills & with pleasing personality.
- Good Presentation Skills.
