Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountability & Responsibility:
  • Attends all walk-in parts customers over parts sales counter and provide them the necessary services for their parts needs.
  • Promotes parts sales by utilizing interpersonal selling skills & Parts product knowledge.
  • Uses CAT parts information system (SIS) & other parts suppliers parts Portals to identify correct part numbers for customers.
  • Effectively Uses Dealer Business System (DBS) utilizing all related functionalities to process parts sales accurately.
  • Records all parts sales transactions as per business needs, including Lost sales transactions.
  • Use the online Channel (PCC) to prepare the quotes and process the customers orders.
  • Prepare recommended parts lists and coordinates with Service team & Parts operation supervisor/BPM before finalization.
  • Records accurate customers details on sales transactions & invoices including all necessary supporting documents.
  • Processes customers parts orders and coordinate with warehouse staff on any special delivery or pick up instructions.
  • Update the customer on B/O status and expected delivery time when needed.
Product brand & Al-Bahar image
  • Promote and conduct business professionally in order to protect the integrity of Caterpillar brand and Al-Bahar image.
Company policies & procedures
  • Ensure all departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant standing instructions and other company policies.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
QHSE policy & procedures
  • Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance to HSE policy to maintain a hazard and incident free environment.
  • Promote awareness of the significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of similar work experience in parts sales and operation.
  • Thorough knowledge of spare parts and products knowledge.
  • Ability to organize daily work activities.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to identify requested parts from manufacturer references.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills & with pleasing personality.
  • Good Presentation Skills.
