Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide overall strategic, programmatic, and operational leadership of the DCA Lebanon country programme
Lead, mentor, and develop national and international staff and promote a strong culture of cooperation including on safety, performance, and accountability
Represent DCA towards partners, donors, national authorities, UN agencies, and in relevant coordination mechanisms
Lead fundraising, donor relations, programme development, and ensure sound financial and operational management
Desired Candidate Profile
5 years senior leadership experience at Country Director level or in a comparable position within humanitarian operations and mine action
Proven experience in fundraising, networking and donor liaison, including identifying and cultivating funding opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with donors and key stakeholders, and representing the organisation in donor dialogues, meetings, and relevant coordination fora
Demonstrated ability to lead safety-critical operations and develop high-performing teams with a focus on good cooperation in a culturally diverse environment.
Solid knowledge of financial, administrative, logistical, and operational management in complex contexts
Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience in humanitarian mine action programme management is an advantage
Scandinavian language skills as well as knowledge of Arabic and/or experience from Lebanon, is an advantage
