Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop, own, and execute the country-level business strategy in alignment with Ajeen’s vision, mission, values, and long-term objectives.

  • Translate strategic goals into clear annual operating plans, budgets, and measurable performance targets.

  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability through disciplined planning, execution, and performance tracking.

  • Act as a strategic partner to shareholders and the board, providing insights, recommendations, and forward-looking analysis.

Operational Excellence:

  • Provide end-to-end oversight of all operational functions, including restaurant operations, production, supply chain, logistics, quality assurance, and compliance.

  • Ensure consistent execution of operating standards across all branches, satellite units, and new channels.

  • Enforce compliance with local regulations, food safety standards, health & safety requirements, and internal company policies.

  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and operational resilience.

Financial Management:

  • Assume full ownership of country P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls.

  • Ensure delivery of approved annual budgets and profitability targets.

  • Identify cost-optimization opportunities across food cost, labor, procurement, logistics, and overheads without compromising product quality or brand standards.

  • Strengthen financial discipline through robust reporting, variance analysis, and corrective action plans.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, lead, and retain a high-performing leadership team across operations, finance, supply chain, marketing, and support functions.

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate senior and mid-level managers to build a strong succession pipeline.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive performance management systems, clear KPIs, and structured development plans.

Brand Development and Marketing:

  • Partners closely with marketing teams and external agencies to strengthen brand positioning, visibility, and relevance in the market.

  • Oversee execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, partnerships, and co-funded initiatives, including food aggregators and strategic collaborators.

  • Act as a brand custodian, ensuring consistency in customer touchpoints, messaging, and in-store experience.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, landlords, partners, suppliers, and influencers.

Customer Experience:

  • Champion a customer-first mindset across the organization.

  • Ensure that products, service quality, speed, and consistency always meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Leverage customer feedback, data, and market trends to drive improvements in menu, service models, and overall experience.

  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction scores, reviews, and brand perception.

Expansion and New Ventures:

  • Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including new locations, formats, channels, events, catering, and partnerships.

  • Lead feasibility assessments, business cases, and rollout plans for new ventures and expansions.

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of new openings, ensuring readiness across people, processes, and systems.

  • Ensure new ventures align with brand standards and financial return expectations.

  • Food cost management @Store level- Target 17% FC

  • New Ventures & Expansion (Events & Catering)- Target 2026 budget (OMR 100k annually)

  • Positive relations with food aggregators- Plan for collaborations and co-funded partnerships

  • Overall Positive Financial Management

  • Supply Chain Excellence- Negotiation (credit terms)/ discounts(pricing) with existing vendors and new vendor

  • Budget review and setting for 2026

  • Develop new channels (Events/Satellite)
