Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver science lessons in accordance with the department s curriculum and teaching guidelines.

  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback during cover periods.
  • Communicate effectively with the Science Department and school management regarding lesson plans and student needs.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding protocols, and health and safety regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Science or a related field.

  • Teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
  • Experience teaching science to secondary school students is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Passion for science education and student success.

Flexible, reliable, and able to respond promptly to cover teaching requests.

Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
