Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of cranes, ensuring precise and efficient lifting of materials on construction sites.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on cranes, identifying any mechanical issues or safety hazards before commencing work.
- Collaborate closely with riggers and site supervisors to determine load specifications and movement plans.
- Maintain clear communication with ground crew using hand signals or radios to ensure safe maneuvering of heavy loads.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in crane operation is a plus.
- Valid crane operator certification from a recognized authority, demonstrating proficiency in safe operation.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents related to lifting operations.
