Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and monitor accounts receivable for insurance and corporate clients.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices and claims to insurance companies.
  • Follow up on unpaid or delayed claims and coordinate with the billing and claims departments to resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of outstanding balances and prepare aging reports for management review.
  • Develop and implement effective credit control procedures to minimize bad debts.
  • Liaise with insurance representatives and corporate clients regarding payment schedules and settlements.
  • Support the Finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
  • Prepare collection reports and provide recommendations for improving cash flow and reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare financial policies and internal credit control standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 5 years of experience in credit control or receivables management within a hospital or healthcare organization in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare insurance systems, claim submission, and follow-up procedures.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with hospital billing and healthcare revenue cycle management software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of transactions and meet collection targets.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
