Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Review and approve credit limits based on company policy and customer payment history.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare monthly aging reports and highlight high-risk accounts to management.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Accounts teams to address billing or payment issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of all credit and collection activities.
- Evaluate new customer credit applications and perform credit checks when required.
- Develop and implement effective credit control and debt recovery procedures.
- Assist in month-end closing by providing collection status and bad debt provisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth payment processes.
- Escalate long-outstanding cases for legal or management action when necessary.
