Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Reviewing and approving credit applications in line with hotel and IHG policies.
- Monitoring outstanding balances and ensuring the timely collection of receivables.
- Preparing and issuing customer account statements and reminders.
- Coordinating with the sales, reservations, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and credit files.
- Monitoring credit limits and identifying potential credit risks.
- Assisting with month-end closing by preparing aging reports and reconciliations.
- Liaising with clients regarding overdue accounts while maintaining professional relationships.
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 3 years experience in credit or accounts receivable, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of credit procedures, financial controls, and accounting systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems (Opera, Sun, or similar).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in the English language.
